Hard agree with this! I’ve been to Istanbul twice and would happily return if the opportunity presents. Stunning city, the best food, amazing shopping, and the history! Love, love it!

Oh wow. The step kids sound like entitled brats. Agreed he would’ve left them money in his will if that were his wish. I would do the same as his widow. Good on her for helping someone who genuinely cared about him and was appreciative of such a gift. Because that is what an inheritance is. Not a birthright.

Crying as I read this! I checked in on Holly’s Instagram everyday hoping there would be good news from her.

Our fur-babies are just such lovely, devoted companions and it is heartbreaking when we lose them. My heart goes out to Holly and her family.
A home is just not a home without the love of a pet. 💔

I hope you recover quickly Holly, and that your isolating means your family and loved ones are safe.

I know exactly how you feel, worrying about who you may have infected, before you even knew you were infected yourself!
You are blessed to have such wonderful support around you.
I had a mixed experience. Some wonderful support, and those who, more than 2 weeks later, don’t trust that I am well, and treat me as a pariah.
We have been indoctrinated with the message we need to protect our community, and now we are told we have to learn to live with this virus, yet no measures were put in place for that to happen. While no one could’ve predicted how this is now playing out, any ‘modelling’ should include worst case scenarios, and resources put in place should that happen.
I feel we have been horribly let down.

I hard relate to this. I too did everything right. But then tested positive 2 days before Christmas. I have been made to feel like a pariah since! I went to drop off my parent’s Xmas presents yesterday (2 days after my iso ended - and note, my COVID experience was was a sore throat for 3 days, which was fine by the time I rec’d the test results) and my Mum stood back as she answered the door. I could tell she didn’t want me to come in! She ushered me through the house, where I found my father wearing a mask, and proceeded to say we could sit outside. It was hot. I was p!ssed off. So I left. The worst part of testing positive, is that you are treated like a leper. COVID itself, for me (I’d had the booster the week before), was nothing more than a sore throat - and not even a bad one (which is hopefully the same experience for the majority of the triple vaxxed).
